HEY FRIEND!

Meet Ashley

Founder, Therapist, and Fellow Traveler in Healing

I’m so glad you found your way here. If you’re visiting this site for the first time, I want you to know something important: you don’t have to have it all figured out to be welcome here.
We live in a world that asks women to carry everything with a smile, but real healing happens in the honest, messy middle.

I created Happy Healing because I believe every woman deserves a space to be seen and supported without the performance. I’m here to walk that path with you, at your pace, with zero judgment.

Professional Roots

Grounded in professional expertise and lived experience, my approach is heart-centered and clinically informed. I believe in holding space that is as safe as it is transformative.

My Foundation

Ashley holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, grounded in deep investment in restorative psychotherapy and human development.

Licensed & Grounded

A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas, she upholds strong clinical ethics and advocacy, using her license as a foundation for insight... not as a tool for clinical practice in this space.

Where I've Done the Work

With over 6 years of clinical practice, she brings a depth of perspective to the quiet burdens women carry every day.

What I Hold Space For

Focused on women’s emotional healing, trauma-informed care, identity reclamation, and the restoration of self-worth... rooted in both clinical knowledge and lived, experienced experiences.

Why I Created
Happy Healing LLC

For a long time, I carried the weight of being “the strong one”... the one who held it all together, no matter what. I learned early that silence gets praised as strength, and doing everything on your own gets mistaken for resilience. But that kind of “strength” is heavy… and exhausting. And truthfully, it doesn’t leave much room for you to just be human.

Happy Healing came from a moment where I realized... we need spaces where we can be real, vulnerable, and still feel worthy. I wanted to create somewhere women could finally exhale… somewhere you don’t have to hold it all together. This isn’t just about therapy. It’s about coming back to yourself... the parts of you that got buried under survival, expectations, and just trying to make it through.

I’m not here to tell you to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be perfect to feel at peace. I’m here to walk with you while you sort through what’s been weighing on you, unlearn what’s been holding you back, and rebuild trust with yourself. You get to start exactly where you are... and that’s more than enough.

Hear the Work in Real Time

And if you want to hear this work in real time, the unfiltered thoughts, the processing, the growth as it’s happening, you can tap into my podcast, So THIS Is Healing?! – Rants From A Therapist In Therapy. It’s where I let you into the in-between… the real, messy, honest parts of healing we don’t always talk about.

Stories on healing, identity, and being human.

One honest episode at a time.

How We Walk Together

My approach is a soulful blend of psychoeducation, storytelling, and guided reflection. I believe that understanding the why behind our patterns is the first step toward changing them, but the deep work happens when we begin to tell a new story about who we are and where we are going together.

We honor your pace here. Healing isn’t a race, and it certainly isn’t linear. By focusing on gratitude, reclaiming identity, and rebuilding self-trust, we work to untangle the layers of expectations that have kept you from your most authentic, soulful self.

Safety and non-judgment are the non-negotiable foundations of this work. We focus on real-life practicality... because inner peace should be an accessible resource for your everyday life, not just an abstract concept for the wellness studio. You are worthy of a healing process that honors your humanity.

If this resonates, I’d be honored to walk with you.
